but you’re not. You never wanted to be. You wanted him the whole time and I was the sideshow before the main event. You left me when I was completely changed by you, completely formed in the mold that you wanted me to be, to upgrade to someone else. Don’t deny it. You can say you loved me, say you’re sorry, say you wish I was here, but you’re glad that I’m gone. You don’t have to deal with that charity case from across the country now, and you can focus on the man you actually love.

I’ll always love you despite all of this though. I’ll always regret never being able to make it work. I’ll always miss you.
