Today my mom told me that a few months back her and my dad were seriously considering letting this foster kid live with us for a little while.
I think he was one of the kids my mom worked with at One Simple Wish, this charity she volunteers for. He just graduated high school so they kinda just throw you onto the street after that. With no family to turn to it’s gotta suck ass, especially when you’re paying for everything yourself on minimum wage. The only reason he didn’t come here was because my depression was in full swing at the time, and they weren’t comfortable letting someone stay while I was bouncing off the walls at home.
I blew my only chance to experience the whole Ryan Atwood/Seth Cohen bro situation =(. Thankfully he found a place in town to live. I never met him or knew his name, but I wish for the best for this guy.
